Gala Of Trees
Westminster's Festival of Fine Art Committee is participating in Salem's annual Gala of Trees event. Due to the pandemic, this year's event is an online auction with trees spread around town in local businesses and benefiting Family Building Blocks.
Our tree is displayed in the window at Basil and Board, 500 Liberty St SE, and will be there until early Sunday morning. The online auction opens today (Wednesday) at noon, and can be found through this link:
The winning bid will receive the tree and ALL the artwork you see in the photo!!
In keeping with Westminster's theme for Advent worship this year, we are offering a daily devotional called Those Who Dream from A Sanctified Art. Beginning with the first Sunday in Advent and following the lectionary through Epiphany, each day offers something new: commentary, poetry, visual art, coloring pages, journaling, and Sabbath prompts.

JOIN THE NEXT ZOOM FELLOWSHIP
When: Sunday Mornings
Time: 9:00 - 11:45 a.m.
What have you been up to? With limited opportunities to see each other face to face, Zoom Fellowship is a social gathering to catch up on our lives together.
All you have to do is click at the bottom. If you do not have Zoom on your computer or tablet it will ask if you want to download the software. This usually takes seconds. Then it will ask if you want to “open zoom?” When you click on the “open zoom” button and you are in the waiting room and will be admitted by the host.
Once the room is open, you can chat with the people who are there. From 9:00 am to 10:00 am people who usually attend Contemporary Service can plan some small group time. At 10:00 am it will be Coffee Hour for the whole church. At 10:30 am Traditional Service folk can hang around to talk in a smaller group. The room will be closed 15 minutes after the Contemporary Service at 11:45 am.
In order to participate, you have to have a camera and microphone in your computer or tablet or connected to them. Webcams and external USB microphones are available for purchase on the web and delivered to your door.
