SUNDAY COFFEE HOUR 

Linger over a cup of delicious fair-trade coffee before and after service, and catch up on all the latest news. Cookies and other goodies often appear for this occasion.

 

WOMENS NIGHT OUT / MENS NIGHT OUT  

Monthly getaways for our ladies and gents at a local hot spot. Good food, good talk, good friends.

 

EVENING OF WORSHIP AND PRAYER

Informal gatherings in Boulder Hall for music, prayer, and snacks or a meal around tables. All ages welcome.

SOS 2.0 (AKA “Save-Our-Sanity”!) 

This adult group takes several weekend trips every year to have fun, get away from the day-to-day, and spend time in spiritual study and conversation. This group also sponsors “Wine & the Word”, a periodic Sunday night Bible study and wine tasting event. For information on SOS 2.0, contact Susan Tanabe. 
 

 

WESTMINSTER BOOK CLUB

The Club meets monthly to discuss a pre-selected book. Newcomers are always welcome.
 

 

GALLEY CLIPPER
Each second Thursday afternoon of the month, the Galley Clipper crew reports for duty at the Marion-Polk Food Share, where they engage in a little competitive food prep, enjoy lively conversation and laughter and, of course, rest at the half-way break with cookies and cold water.

 

DINNERS FOR EIGHT 
A popular small-group opportunity for dinner and fellowship in private homes. Dinners typically take place 3 or 4 times a year, with several homes hosting each night.

 

 

PARENT’S NIGHT OUT 

Once or twice a year, we set up a great kid’s play-space, rustle-up a kid-friendly dinner, and bring together our team of volunteers (all of whom must pass background checks and complete our Child Protection Certification) for Parent’s Night Out. Parents can drop off their kids and head out to enjoy a much-appreciated night on the town…or a quiet night at home, knowing their kids are safe and having a great time.
