Senior Lunch is May 14 Come to Senior Lunch and hear about a Habitat for
Humanity build in Mongolia from John Turman and George Happ who
participated last August. Menu will be Hot Bean Casserole, Lime
Fruit Salad, and Black Forest Squares. The fun starts at noon!
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Church Clean Up Day! Please put Saturday, May 17th on your calendars. We need help
doing grounds clean-up! All men, women and children are invited.
Coffee, juice, goodies are included in the invitation to clean-up at
Westminster!

to top Mark you calendars for our last Parents’ Night
Out for families at Salem Heights Elementary School. It will be on
Friday, May 16th from 6:00-9:00pm at the church. This is a great way
to contribute to the lives of the families at Salem Heights
Elementary School by providing a fun, safe evening while parents can
have some time together. Activities have been planned…. We will just need people to
donate food and to volunteer some time to be with the kids. Sign up
on the bright yellow sign-up sheets in the Narthex so you can join
us for a fun evening!

Family Campout Planning ahead for summer... This year we have reserved 2 group
tent campsites at South Beach State Park, on US Hwy 101, 2 miles
south of Newport, Oregon. Mark your calendars now! The cost will be
about $20 per family. There is room for about 50 tent campers. RV
campers may want to reserve their own sites for that weekend in one
of the RV loops. Go to www.oregonstateparks.org for park
information. Look for a sign up sheet in the Narthex. Attention: Artists! Jury forms are now available for the Westminster 21st Annual Fine
Arts Festival and Sale. The jurors are Carolyn Gutz (jewelry),
Walt Jones (photography) and Deanne White (two-dimensional mixed
media). The deadline for submission of slides or CD’s is May 31st.

Do you have a pre-schooler or grandchildren who are
pre-schoolers? Would you like a two-hour escape to go out for lunch
or
run errands? The Outreach Committee is offering a new service: A two-hour break (12:30 - 2:30) once
a
month for parents of babies through kindergartners. Mommy’s Great Escape day
for January will be Thursday, May 1st. For more information or to add your
name to the caregivers list, contact the church office at
