Welcome to
the Children’s Ministry page of the Westminster Presbyterian Church
website. Here you will find information on the different
children’s programs at Westminster.
 Hours:
8:00 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. each Sunday, except for summer
8:00 am -11:00 am
Our
goal is to provide a safe, clean, loving environment for
your baby or toddler.
SUNDAY
SCHOOL
9:45-10:45 Beginning September 7th through the end of May.
Children 3 years through
Kindergarten participate in hands-on learning experiences
Children in 1st-5th
grades are participating in PowerXpress, an hour long
adventure that uses the following 7 different experiential
rotating stations: Storytelling, Art, Creative Cookery,
Music/Movement, Games, Science and Movies.

From September-May our 1st-5th graders jump into a different
multi-sensory experience each week which engages them in every
learning style. For seven weeks the kids explore the same Bible
theme in different multi-sensory ways including storytelling,
creative cookery, games, art, science, music and movement and
movies.

AFTER
SCHOOL MIDWEEK PROGRAM
Our Fall 10-week session ended on November 18th. Now is the time
to sign-up for our 10-week Winter Midweek Program for children in
kindergarten through 5th grade. It begins on Wednesday, January 6th
and is from 3:30-5:15. The winter session will end on Wednesday,
March 10th. Van
transportation is available from Salem Heights and Morningside Elementary Schools.
The program includes a snack time, crafts, games and singing. If you
plan to participate, we need you to complete the winter registration
form (which is available on the information table in the narthex or
can be (downloaded) so we know
how many kids to plan for. Spread the word among your friends and be
sure to invite them to join us at Westminster on Wednesdays after
school. It’s a fun place to be!!!

8:15 and 9:45 during the summer and 8:15 and 11:00 worship service
the rest of the
year.
VACATION BIBLE
SCHOOL (4 year olds – completed 5th grade)
Join
us the third week in June from 9:00 a.m. – Noon.
Fun
Bible learning and crafts, team building games, lively
songs, and tasty treats centered around a Bible theme.

CHRISTMAS PAGEANT
December 20, 4:00pm
Two rehearsals: Friday December 18, 5:30pm -7:30pm and
Sunday December 20, 9:45am-10:45am
