The mission of Westminster
Presbyterian church is to embody God's purpose in Jesus Christ by
reflecting and actively sharing God's love within a dynamic
community for all God's creation through
worship,
education,
development of faith, service and
fellowship. Sunday’s 9:45 - 10:45 a.m. September - May Children Sunday School Classes for 3year olds through Fifth Grade. Adults Adult Bible Study For adults at all stages of Biblical understanding. Forum Features a wide variety of presentations on such topics as faith, the church and mission in the community and the world. • Small group studies ![]() • Bible study for men and women • Vacation Bible School • Summer camp for children and youth. A Place for Youth: Mid High and High School Sunday School Mid High – 11:00 a.m. Mid High Youth Group Sundays 12:00pm Senior High Senior High Youth Group Sunday from 5:30 pm to 7:30 p.m. Overnighters, Retreats, Mission Trips, Ski Trips, Service Projects
Children's Music Sunday Mornings Youth Music 6th – 12th grades Solos, Ensembles, Contemporary Worship leadership Chancel Choir Youth – Adults, Thursday at 7:00 p.m. Westminster Chimes Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. Opportunities for fellowship are many: • Annual "Women’s Retreat" • Small Groups ![]() • Dinners for Eight • Ice Cream social, camp-out, picnic, potluck gatherings, game night and corn feed • Women’s Circles • Young Adults • Senior Lunch Local Missions Projects include:
• Meals on Wheels• Marion-Polk Food Share • Helping Hands • S.O.S. Shelter • Salvation Army • Women’s Crisis Service • Northwest Human Services • Community Food Bank • Boy Scout Troop 108 • West Salem Clinic • Habitat for Humanity • Hogar Infantile Recycling of mixed paper is provided for members
to diminish the impact on the environment. Mission Statement: The Mission/Peace/Eco-Justice Committee, on behalf of the Westminster congregation, shall provide service and support to meet needs locally and worldwide for those whom God’s peace and justice do not reign, and to protect God’s creation. Additionally we shall educate, advocate, and inspire the congregation to become aware of these concerns and opportunities.
