Mission work in Chiapas

Youth Missions

The youth of Westminster are committed to mission work, both locally and globally.  Every year, our high school youth participate in a mission trip outside of Salem. In past years they have traveled to San Francisco, New Orleans, and Hogar Infantile in Chiapas,  Mexico.
The youth groups also perform local mission work throughout the year.

Mission Statement:  The Mission/Peace/Eco-Justice Committee, on behalf of the Westminster congregation, shall provide service and support to meet needs locally and worldwide for those whom God’s peace and justice do not reign, and to protect God’s creation.  Additionally we shall educate, advocate, and inspire the congregation to become aware of these concerns and opportunities.
